Students Participate in Leadership Retreat

BLOOM Leadership Retreat 2024 was...AMAZING!!!!! 13 students were impacted by powerhouse women from the community, the importance of giving back and the bonds they created with one another!

Because BLOOM has a chapter at our local high school, it is so important for students to align their vision for the year to the work happening on campus. The new club officers met to plan the school year and create a vision that will bring joy and hope across the school campus based on the school’s motto and goals.

Students participated in several workshops including: Tapping Into Your Inner Leader, the Power of No, and Importance of Self-Love.

Students served the community by preparing for a Back to School Bash hosted by Representative Susan Valdes and helped out in several departments at Metropolitan Ministries.

Students enjoyed a field trip to the Salvador Dali Museum and USF St.Pete campus.

One of our students even led her own workshop on the importance of serving the community through a lens of faith.

Every student received a SWAG bag with a stress ball, motivational stickers, retreat shirt, pens, and a pencil much for the school year.

It was a jam packed week full of opportunities to grow, serve, and love! Most importantly, it was FREE of cost for our students and the girls shared an unforgettable experience of team bonding.

We are excited to see how these 13 students will impact their community this year!!! THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT BUILDING FEMALE LEADERS THAT WILL NOT ONLY THRIVE IN OUR COMMUNITY BUT INVEST IN IT!
